It's been a long day. I just got home from work and man was it strange. People are the most unpredictable thing ever. Some woman stormed out of the store because a chocolate bar rang up 2.59 instead of 2.29 and paid for it, looked at it, then said she didn't want it and demanded her money back. Those are the things I just don't get. Though today I got awkwardly freaked out by babies. Yes, babies. They scream in the store but everytime I look at them, they just stare at me with their big eyes, with their full attention towards me and I realize it's like that with every baby I've seen. In a strange way it made me feel special, kinda like I mattered. It's pretty bad when your self esteem is increased by babies smiling at you, eh?
One month and thirteen days till college. Journal, I cannot wait at all. It'll be nice to get away from this dinky town and onto the beautiful town of Burlington, Vermont. The college is right over the lake and it's the most breathtaking sight I've ever seen. I still have to do all my shopping for dorm life which I'm psyched for. Though, I hope my roomates don't suck and actually like to see the light of day like I sometimes do. I'm kinda nervous to be on my own but you gotta learn sometime, right?
It's getting kinda dirty in here so I think I'll get up and go home and maybe watch a movie. I'm in the mood for The Warriors. Cult Classic.
P.S. Memo- Get a new cassette adapter for car. Ever since 3 days ago the audio in my car has been screwy though the adapter and the second one I bought does the same exact thing. I guess that's what they make return slips for, right?
